We couldn't ask for a better stay at Star Hostel Taipei East! Everything was absolutely perfect. The beds were so comfy and the shower was great. The location is amazing, so close to the MRT. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful stay!

The beds were long enough to accommodate Western guests, and the bunk beds were well-made with individual lights and curtains for privacy. The breakfast provided in the floor seating area was satisfying, with options like bread, sweet potato, eggs, and fresh fruits. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the WiFi worked well.

I had such a great experience at Star Hostel Taipei East! The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the hostel. I didn't have to worry about lugging my luggage around because there was an elevator available. The lounge had a cozy and stylish atmosphere with a touch of Japanese design. I loved drinking the complimentary coffee, snacking on free treats, and browsing their collection of books. It was also convenient to be able to charge my laptop there. The breakfast may have been simple, but it was delicious with a variety of options like bread, eggs, fruits, and even small hot dogs. The hostel even provided toothbrushes and toothpaste, in case you forgot to bring your own. I had a fantastic time and would definitely reserve a room for my next trip to Taipei.

The hostel had a mix of dorms and rooms, creating a tranquil atmosphere. I also enjoyed the spacious common area on the third floor, where I could hang out and have a late-night snack. The staff was quick to respond and very friendly, always willing to help and have a chat.

The breakfast was good and made fresh, but it started a bit late at 8 am, which can be inconvenient if you have a day trip planned. the shared bathroom was quite small for over 20 people, although I never had to wait to use it.

Neat, clean, and functional space just one block from my office. Surprisingly normal practice to wash dishes after breakfast, but easy to adopt.
